Lund University and the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) are proud to announce a new collaborative initiative, Water in a Changing Environment (WICE). This unique hub aims to address global water challenges by connecting Lund University researchers and students with the UN’s expertise and networks.

Water in a Changing Environment – WICE

WICE strengthens Lund University’s ties to the UN and introduces an exclusive UN track for students, offering specialized training and internships with international organizations.

With only two hubs of its kind in Europe and four worldwide, WICE is a pivotal step in bringing research and education at Lund University to the forefront of global water, environment, and health solutions.

The Hub’s activities are structured around three key pillars

  • Research, Development, and Innovation
  • Education, Training, and Capacity Building
  • Outreach, Advocacy, and Impact
